Professionals in online auctions for the food and beverage industry

  1. Register for free
  2. Find and bid
  3. Win
  4. Pay and pick up

In 4 simple steps you can be the owner of a machine. First you need to make a registration on our website to create an account. You can search on the website for machines and when you have an activated account you can place bids. After the auction you will receive a confirmation of the lots you have bought and information about the financial settlement and pick up. Within 3 days after allocation the payment needs to be done on a bank account mentioned by Industrial Auctions. After that the allocated lot(s) can be picked up on the official pick up day.

Do you have a question about your account, bidding on machines or organizing transport? On this page you will find all required information. If you have any other questions, do not hesitate to  contact us.

After validation you will receive an e-mail in which is mentioned that your details are checked and that you are able to place bids. Sometimes it is necessary that we require more details. When needed, it is also mentioned in the email.
  • When you have forgotten your username you need to contact Industrial Auctions. To receive your username we need the e-mail address which you filled in during your registration.
  • On the login page you can click on ‘Forgot password?’. When you fill in your username you will receive an e-mail to set a new password.
  • Go to the lot you want to follow. Click on ‘Track’ on the bottom right of the page. You are now tracking this lot. Click on ‘Stop tracking” when you wish to stop following the lot. You can find all your lots that you are following with ‘Track your lots’ (at the top of the page).
  • At the top of the page you will find, after logging in, your personal menu with ‘Settings’. By clicking on ‘Change profile’ you can change your details. It is not possible to personally change from a private account to a company account. If you would like this, you will need to contact Industrial Auctions.

  • Bidding on a lot is only possible when you have an activated account. We cannot remove any bids. When a lot is awarded to you, you are obligated to pay for the lot after allocation within 3 days.
  • Static bid – With a static bid you decide how high your bid is.
Proxy bid - With a proxy bid you indicate the maximum price that you are willing to pay for the lot. The auction system will automatically increase your bid if you are outbid by a third party. This process continues automatically until your maximum bid is reached. If another bidder places a static bid equal to the maximum of your earlier placed automatic bid, the automatic bid comes first (an automatic bid beats the static bid). You receive an e-mail when you are overbid.
  • A combination is a collection of a number of lots that are offered in the auction. This is clearly indicated on the page of the lot with a red [C]. You can only place a bid on a combination when all the separate lots belonging to the combination are closed. The starting bid of a combination is determined by the sum of the highest bids of the individual closed lots. If there are bids for a combination, the lots are allocated to the highest bidder for the combination, not to the highest bidders for the individual lots because they have been outbid by a combination bidder.
  • If someone places a bid in the last 5 minutes before the lots closes, the closing time will be extended with 5 minutes until no more bids are placed.
  • Before placing a bid you will see a preview with all amounts that are applied on your bid and the total amount of your bid. On top of your bid will come a percentage buyer’s premium. For auctions in the Netherlands and Belgium this is 17% and in other countries 18%.
  • The VAT percentage depends on the country where the auction is being organised. VAT will be calculated over the placed bid plus buyer’s premium.

  • You can search for machines in different ways. Per auction all machines are divided into several categories. You can also choose for ‘Show on lot number’. All lots will be shown on number starting with the lowest number. At the top of the page you can search on a specific machine by filling in the machine you are looking for. The system will check if there is a match. If you do not find a result, you can also send an e-mail to Industrial Auctions.
  • Viewing days give you the opportunity to inspect the machines you see on the website on location. The machines are not connected to power during viewing days. During the viewing day on location you will receive a catalogue with the description of all lots and the starting prices of all individual lots and combinations.
  • You buy the lots without guarantee. We strive to provide as much information as possible with a lot. You can always send in questions and/or come to the viewing day when you require more information.
  • With your registration you need to agree to the general terms and conditions. You can find the general terms and conditions at the bottom of the website where you can also download them.
  • Beside bidding on machines it is also possible the sell your machinery, production lines or complete companies for the food and beverage industry with Industrial Auctions. You can find more information here.
